I've played with the options and haven't gotten any better results. All the way down to 1% and still nothing. I put those files in the ignore list and tried it again-after adjusting the "filter hardness" down from 95% to 85%. ![]() I was hoping that DupeGuru would discover them and allow me to choose which ones to keep (based on size, resolution, etc.). They are the exact same photos but different dimensions. I know for a fact that I have many duplicate files (at least 117) because I know that I downloaded them and put them on my external hard drive. The files it found were very similar, but not duplicates. I ran it for the first time last night and it found 4 duplicate files. That is one of the main reasons disk shares are disabled by default.I downloaded and installed DupeGuru after reading about how highly regarded it is. Typically this kind of shenanigans occurs when someone with a poor grasp of how unraid works starts playing around with disk shares. You could theoretically hide files from the user shares this way, and cause all sorts of confusion. It's quite possible to have 2 or more identically named files this way, but the contents not be equal. ![]() if you delete /mnt/user/myshare/test.txt, then the one on disk2 will show up the next time the user share system is reloaded. In this example, the file accessed at /mnt/user/myshare/test.txt will be the one on disk1, for all intents and purposes /mnt/disk2/myshare/test.txt doesn't exist in the user share system. Very definitely possible, and can be quite problematic for someone who doesn't have a good handle on what a user share is. I'm not sure if it's possible, for the same share, to have the same file on multiple disks. ![]() You are right, it seems that some files created by dupeGuru are not saved outside the container. I need to put more time on this issue to figure out why it's crashing. dupeGuru is still running fine and a refresh of the browser will get you back t where you were. This is caused by a crash of the built-in x11vnc server. I also got the " Server disconnected (code: 1006)" error a couple of times. PS: The Dockerhub link in the top post 404's.įirst, thank you very much for your feedback! I guess that isn't being saved in /config? I am using Chrome, and haven't tried other browsers yet.Īlso, the list of previously used directories gets wiped when I make a change and resave the docker, like when altering the above resolution. The only thing I changed from the base template was the DISPLAY_WIDTH and DISPLAY_HEIGHT, and I went ahead and set KEEP_GUIAPP_RUNNING to 1, but that didn't resolve the issue. I periodically get " Server disconnected (code: 1006)" while using this, typically when clicking something.
